Hoooey, has it been awhile!

December’s normally a pretty nutty month, and this year I’ve decided to spend a good deal of away my laptop during off-work hours. Of course, it helps that said laptop seems a little ill these days, and being the compu-friendly technophile (*cough*) that I am, I’m choosing to ignore the problem until it goes away.
But things are fine indeed in unseasonably warm Toronto. There’s been plenty of food and drink and visiting with long-lost or normally far-off people. I’m nearly done my Christmas shopping, and that which remains is fun and little, nothing necessitating a trip to the mall. I’m loading up the Corolla with baked goods and gifts and the boyfriend to head home on Saturday, and I’m very much looking forward to nearly 12 straight days off.
Despite the chaos, and the overindulgence, and the freakishly un-winter-like weather (oh Al Gore, I feel your pain) I do love this time of year.
