A question that only arises in the presence of three (!) wheels of brie
So, I've been to Montreal and back in the last 55 hours.
There's a good deal I could report: the weekend was indulgent and entertaining and slightly unhinged. However, seeing as how I've driven six hours today, got precious little sleep last night, and left my voice at the Quebec border, I'll just leave you all with the riddle that kept no fewer than 12 twenty-somethings occupied for several hours last night:
Is there any food that doesn't go well with cheese?
I'll leave it to you, faithful readers. I'm stumped.

Maybe that "STOP COOKING WITH CHEESE!" lady has an answer.

Cheese. A paradox.

Are you kidding, yo? Give me a nice ricotta/chevre mix any day. Or a feta/stilton crumble on pizza. Mmmm...
It's a tough question, for certain. We almost had a winner with licorice, but then someone pointed out that it's really not so much a food as it is a product, and then someone else pointed out that it might be good with a strawberry cream cheese, so there you have it.

Dude - haven't you seen that episode of Full House where Michelle teaches us that just because you like tuna and ice-cream doesn't mean you'll like them together.
Like, I like peanut butter and cheese... but frankly, I'm not about to whip some of that up.

I'm thinking more philosophically; as in, the best companion for something can't be the thing itself. Am I my own best friend?
Yes, but extenuating circumstances here.
