1. American Idol. I've given in. Go Elliott!
2. The Oscars. Jon-boy as host AND a Dolly Parton performance? Yes please!
3. Single-malt scotch. Lately, it's been responsible for more fuzzy mornings than I care to admit, but I don't care, because it's heaven.
4. The Frank Gehry show at the AGO. It's refreshingly informal for such a thing, with retro CBC documentaries projected on the walls and a workshop with toy blocks in one corner.
5. My new MP3 player. Today, as I nursed a hangover down Ronces, squinting in the sun, it gave me "Under Pressure", followed by the Beta Band's "Dry The Rain". It's nice to tailor a playlist to my exact mood.
